Why REC+ is invite-only

REC+ (recplus.app) is invite-only because competitive games depend on trust. Players need confidence that the listed level is meaningful, the lineup is intentional, and the people who join plan to show up.

Admission has a clear standard

Joining requires a verified DUPR identity or one vouch from a current member. We do not accept a self-reported rating as proof of level.

This is a lightweight gate, not a private club for its own sake. REC+ is free to join. The gate gives hosts and players a shared trust model before they organize a session.

Hosts remain in control

Hosts run the games. They choose the format, court, tier, and capacity, then manage the lineup. Invite-only admission does not guarantee a spot in every session; it makes the pool of participants more accountable.

The community can grow carefully

REC+ has about 150 members on Oahu today. We plan to support more markets, but the same standard should travel with the product: verified information, accountable entry, tier-gated sessions, and host-led games.
