Frequently asked questions
REC+ (recplus.app) is a free, invite-only competitive pickleball community. These are the practical answers we give players before they join.
Is REC+ free?
Yes. REC+ is free to join and use.
How do I get in?
Request access with a verified DUPR identity or get one vouch from a current member. We use those paths instead of accepting a self-reported rating.
Do I need a DUPR?
Not necessarily. A connected DUPR account is one admission path, and one vouch from a current member is the other. Connecting DUPR lets your rating sync directly from DUPR.
What if I am below 4.0?
REC+ currently organizes sessions in the 4.0–4.5, 4.5–5.0, and 5.0+ tiers. If you are below 4.0, the current session tiers will not be a fit yet.
Can visitors play?
Visitors can request access for Oahu. Access still follows the same trust model, and individual sessions remain subject to their tier, capacity, and host approval.
What markets does REC+ support?
REC+ is on Oahu today. We plan to add more markets next, but we have not published a market schedule.
Is my data shared with DUPR?
Only if you connect your DUPR account, and only the information you consent to share through that connection. If you do not connect DUPR, REC+ does not use a DUPR connection on your behalf.
